Windgap Medical Appoints Anthony (“Tony”) Watson as Vice President, Regulatory Affairs and Quality
Watertown, MA, April 10, 2023 — Windgap Medical is pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Watson as the company’s Vice President, Regulatory Affairs and Quality, effective April 10. Watson will lead both functions at Windgap, collaborating closely with the CEO and the entire organization to progress the company’s multiple injection platforms.
“Tony brings significant experience with combination products to the Windgap team ,” said Aaron Mann, Windgap’s CEO.. “His hands-on experiences with drug delivery systems, medical devices, and digital therapeutics will serve both our customers and our injection platforms well.”
Watson joins Windgap from Pear Therapeutics where he was Vice President, Regulatory Affairs and Quality. Prior to Pear, Watson served in Regulatory leadership roles at Sanofi and at Biogen. Prior to Biogen, Watson held a series of leadership roles at the FDA, culminating as the Director, Office of Device Evaluation, CDRH. He holds MBA and MIS degrees from the University of Maryland, and a BS from the United States Naval Academy.
